Springtime in Vegas. Perfectly sunny days, cool nights and enough rain to make you long for that totally impractical $88 umbrella ; it's to die for, and you rationalize buying it by reminding yourself that this is the rainiest that Vegas has been since the summer JFK Jr. died, and that little umbrella looks completely cute with everything springy you have, and you even carry it on days when it's not raining, twirling it over your shoulder like a parasol, shielding yourself from what will soon turn into a
deadly heated sun in a few months.
It doesn't help at that this umbrella has a matches the entire Coach Soho Stripe collection. What good is it to carry the umbrella if you aren't carrying the matching tote bag? There are enough colors in this pattern to match a week's worth of spring colored outfits, which makes this bag a definite steal and must have at $258.
When it is raining outside, or just too cold for you to expose your newly cropped blonde hair to the elements, you opt to wear the cute crusher as well, because it matches the tote and the umbrella, and because it makes you feel very Carrie Bradshaw when you do it.
Coach has completely revamped their website and made it easy for collection whores like me to find exactly what they are looking for. New items are now featured prominently in their own section, and the suggested items that run on the side of each page have gotten better with suggestions for items you will actually want to piece together.
Of course, I hd to go digging around the site on my own to find out that the Coach Soho Stripes have a shoe all their own, and it's perfect for both spring and summer. It has a 3 1/2" wedge hill, but I think that I can manage that. It's not a stiletto, so that should leave me relatively safe while I'm trying to be cute. Jeans, skirts, capris and even shorts with work with these combinations.
God I love Coach.
Buy me some, please?
I would if I could (buy you some Coach, that is). I was reading this and thinking, "Damn, me and Mo need to go shopping." Of course, you'd probably be the only one buying out of the Coach store, as a sista is broke, will wait for a sale, and prefers to get Coach merchandise as gifts. :) But shopping with you would be the butters. *lol*
