I used to be able to sit down and right haiku at any time of the day. I miss doing that. They don’t come to me as easily as they once did. This is a manifestation of my lack of practice. I need to get back on the ball.
I was seven when my father took my brother and I to see Superman. As kids, we were floored by that movie, and Superman immediately became our hero. Our mother later bought us matching t-shirts with Christopher Reeve as Superman flying across the front of them. I loved that shirt and didn't give it up until it was practically a rag.
I never was a big Full House fan. I jumped on the Olsen bandwagon with “It Takes Two”, and I haven’t jumped off since. I have loved the Olsen Twins since they were in that movie with Kirstie Alley, Steve Guttenberg, and "Heddy"fromHerman’s Head. I try to catch Two of a Kind on ABC Family whenever it’s on, and I will watch most anything featuring the Olsen Twins on television. I used to think they were the ugliest babies, but those monkey faces have given way to two blue-eyed beauties that can write their ticket to basically anywhere. There was no way I wasn’t going to watch New York Minute.
